This deck has 4 sequential interactive audio activities that will help your students memorize and identify all the letters in the American Sign Language alphabet and spelling words.
Students will practice memorizing and identifying the American Sign Language (ASL) alphabet and phonetic sounds for each letter. Students will use the recorder to repeat each sound and letter for practice.
Spelling Words. Students will hear the words and use the recorder to repeat each word for practice.
"Match the letters to make a word." Students will look at the words and then drag and drop the correct letters at the bottom to make the word. The letters are in randomized order. Students may click the heart to hear the word again. This makes learning fun! Students have audio encouragement along the way.

Each volume of Music Time and Sign with Ms. D provides weeks of daily lessons. When students engage in each lesson with Music Time and Sign, instructions are provided in both English and Spanish. Students will practice the sign and practice writing skills as they trace the word. Students will also use their creative skills to color the pictures, which also allows them to retain information. Students and parents are encouraged to return to these pages for continual practice.
Music Time and Sign encourages students to learn using a variety of learning modalities. Fingerspelling is a key skill in American Sign Language (ASL). When students struggle to communicate effectively, fingerspelling allows them to get their point across while minimizing frustration. Now, students are not only learning the signs, they are writing the sign, coloring the pictures, and practicing spelling. It's a win-win for all!
Everyone loves a poster! With Music Time and Sign, students and their parents can hang learning posters to practice the sign language skills they have learned. It is yet another way for students to actively engage in the learning process.
Let's have a little fun, shall we? With these worksheets, students gain additional practice with sign recognition. Students will be able to match the correct picture with the word form while recognizing sight words in the process.
The fun never seems to end with Music Time and Sign!
Students are now able to cut out puzzle pieces from the cardstock tear-off included in each lesson. More fun equals more learning!
